Doesn’'t every program have a system for success? NO. Our system is constructed of advanced, high percentage wrestling technique and proper fundamentals. We are always trying to correct slight mistakes in technique that might normally go unidentified. We believe in drilling.
We are knowledgeable, trained, and passionate professionals. We believe that coaching is a profession— and not everyone can’ do it. Just because you were an athlete doesn’t qualify you to coach. Just because you love kids doesn'’t qualify you to coach. Just because you have done it for a long time doesn’'t qualify you to coach. We understand the sport. We understand how to teach.
Our practices are planned, intensive, and focused. We have structure, not chaos (unfortunately what happens in lots of club and school practice rooms). Fun? Not always. Rewarding? Always.
Don'’t all clubs and school programs respect everyone? NO. We can’'t tell you how many parents who are frustrated because the only one getting attention in the practice room is the coach's son or the winning wrestler. We realize the best wrestlers come in all shapes and sizes. Champions are made in this sport and we respect workers. As a result, everyone improves.
Nothing comes easy. It takes time, commitment, and the right program to create success. Our goal is to get the most out of each individual wrestler. At the end of the day, it’s the process that counts.
We have discovered through years of studying the sport that nothing can replace hard work, but it is not the only key to the formula of success. Without proper technique, physical conditioning, and nutrition the majority of work becomes wasted. Don't waste your time and effort, give yourself the opportunity to train and compete at the highest levels in the sport.
This program will be the groundwork for the start of a successful wrestling season. The preparation will include structured drilling, building on fundamental skills with advance technique in a high intensity environment.
FALL
PROGRAM
This is the in-season folk style wrestling program. The objective of this program is to prepare students for local, state, and national tournaments. The sessions will focus on learning advance technique, trouble-shooting technique problems through drilling, maintaining motivation, along with hard wrestling and conditioning.
WINTER
This training program is devoted to Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. The sessions will focus on techniques and strategies to prepare students for state and national competition.
FREESTYLE & GRECO ROMAN
The goal behind this program is to give students a chance to out work their competition. This is the time of year that most wrestlers take off. Students will improve by learn new technique and gaining more mat experience. The training will consist of light drills along with large amounts of live wrestling.
