The in season (winter) Competitive Youth Wrestling Program starts 11/9/2009. We will be having an informational meeting Sunday
October 25 at 6:15 pm. We will only be accepting 16 wrestlers into this program.

We now have open gym for 12 -19 year olds on the first Saturday of every month from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

9/15/09
We have started are BOOT CAMP classes and today is the first Advanced Tumbling classes with JOHNNY ALVAREZ.

11/22/09
Dustin and Swayer win the Capitial Classic. Travis has doubled his win total from last year in one tournament by placing
3rd at the Capital Classic and Cody took 2nd in the JV tournament.

11/4/09
Congratulations Dustin on finishing in the top 12 at Preseason Nationals in Iowa.

Due to the large numbers in our Tuesday tumbling classes w/ Johnny we are adding an extra tumbling class on Wednesdays 7:00 -
8:00 pm.

We had an awesome weekend of wrestling at some of the states toughest tournaments. The youth kids went Dallas to wresting the
Cotton Bowl Nationals, we had a good showing after the first round. John Geiger made it to the finals and lost the challenge match for
2nd place. CJ Dismore took an early round lost and wrestled back to take 3rd. Sean Sloan won a tough 4 - 2 match in the consolation
finals for 5th place.

Stephen Galbreath, Dustin Stiegemeyer, Zach Jonas, and Easton Trejo all took first place at the biggest high school wrestling
tournament in region 4 the Centex Tournament.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

George Gogonas and Cody Frankum came back from college to get a little extra training in during the winter break. The winter break
camps were awesome our high school wresting camp was full with State Champions and current college wrestlers. The cheerleading
camps had a ton of girls gaining new skills and getting a jump start on try-outs.

Our wrestlers have had a successful start to the first half of the season, Travis Frankum, Dustin Stiegemeyer, Adrian Barazza,
Stephen Galbreath, Sean Malone, Zach Balding, John Michael Heyl, John Geiger, and Luke Sloan have made the finals or won a
tournament this year.

Congratulations to all of our girls on Lake Travis High School Cheerleading squad for taking 2nd placing at NCA Nationals.

THE GYM IS CLOSED TODAY DUE TO WEATHER!

We are happy to announce that Team Texas for the Middle School Dual Tournament in Illinois will be practicing with us on Sundays
from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

We had 9 youth wrestlers attend the TXUSAW Youth State Championships this past weekend. We can back with 4 state champions,
one runner up, and a 3rd place. Congratulations to John, Mark, Trey, and Stefan on win state titles.

Congratulations to all of these wrestlers who have trained with us since last spring on qualifying for the UIL High School State
Championships. We also want to congratulate the parents and coaches of these wrestlers on a successful season. These wrestlers
have attended a practices or a camp with us this past year.
