3F Fitness implements a developmental approach to cheerleading that promotes healthy, active lifestyles, a strong work ethic, and physically fit children. Our mission is to provide activities that promote all aspects of athleticism from balance, agility, strength, flexibility, and coordination to build self confidence. All of our classes are designed to keep kids moving. They will spend little to no time standing in line. Our classes are geared towards fun and fitness. Through positive encouragement we want to bring the best out in each child. |
Cheer Plus I teaches children the basic skills needed to advance in the sport of cheerleading. Students will learn fundamental motions and formations. In cheer I children will memorize cheers, chants, sidelines, and dances while mastering the art of performing. With professional instruction they will learn proper body positions for tumbling, jumps, and stunts. Tumbling will follow the same progression as Basic Tumbling I. The jumps will progress from tucks to toe touches. While the stunts will focus on learning positions in a stunt group and basic lifts with proper body positions. |
Cheer Plus II is designed to further develop the current cheerleader. Students will learn more advanced motions and formations. We will continue to teach children to memorize more advanced cheers, chants, sidelines, and dances while mastering the art of performing. Using more advanced skills and drills students will learn tightness and control while executing tumbling, jumps, and stunts. Tumbling will follow the same progression as Basic Tumbling II. The jumps will progress in height and approach. Students will also learn how to connect a series of jumps. While the stunts will focus on learning more advanced lifts and advanced flyer body positions. |
This is a class where the parent can get involved and get a workout too! This class is designed to teach parents and students together the language of cheerleading while reconnecting the parent and child. In this class parents learn will ways to teach and encourage their child through drills and skills, while their child is learning the basic fundamentals of cheerleading.This class will follow the same skills as Cheer I. |
This class focuses on the tumbling aspect of cheerleading. Students will learn how to properly execute tumbling skills through the uses of drills and muscle memory. In basic tumbling I students will progress from learning basic body positions (tuck, pike, straddle) to learning how to flip (forward roll, cartwheel, bridge). We want the children to learn the feeling of success in learning new skills and the accomplishment of perfecting old ones. |
This class focuses on the tumbling aspect of cheerleading. Students will learn how to properly execute tumbling skills through the uses of drills and muscle memory. In basic tumbling II students will progress from learning basic flips (cartwheel, round-off, back walkover) to learning a back handspring/flip-flop. We want the children to learn the feeling of success in learning new skills and the accomplishment of perfecting old ones. |
This is designed for teams or groups of children that want to use the gym. We will work with a coach or parent to design a class tailored to the students. The coach/parent will choose skills from different areas of cheerleading (performance, sidelines, cheers, chants, dances, stunts, jumps, and tumbling). This class is designed to help bridge the gap between the basic cheerleader and the advanced cheerleader. Back handspring to a series of back handsprings then advancing to back tucks. Through drills the student will gain knowledge, coordination, and strength to be able to excute the skills necessary to advance. |
This class focuses on advanced tumbling skills (back tucks, layouts, fulls, double fulls, elite combination passes, etc. ). This advanced tumbling class is for students who want to learn new skills or prefect old ones. This class is designed for cheerleaders that are ready to move to the next level of their sport, whether it is tryouts for middle school, high school, college or just perfecting your skills for your competition team this is the class for you. |
This class is designed to give cheerleaders an extra edge and maximize their jump potential. It is 30 minutes of jumps and drill that are designed to improve your jump height and technique. The class will focus on jump combinations, stretching, and conditioning. |
